Vanquish is a safe, noninvasive alternative to liposuction. It uses radio frequency technology to target stubborn and unwanted fat cells in specific areas of the body. The body's natural elimination process will allow the fat to be disposed of over time without surgical invasion. It should be noted that Moradi MD does not recommend this as an excessive weight loss option but as an effective way to contour places of the body, such as the stomach, legs, buttocks, and arms.

Procedure Technique

Vanquish Fat Reduction is a non-invasive and comfortable procedure. For the patient’s benefit, Dr. Moradi uses the most recent iteration of the Vanquish Fat Reduction and Removal device, the Vanquish ME™. This updated technology allows for even more effective tuning and precise energy control. Because of this, Dr. Moradi is able to treat not only the abdomen, flanks, and legs, but also the arms. This FDA-cleared technique safely removes unwanted fat in order to tighten and tone the body while improving body contours.

During treatment the Vanquish device will be applied to directly hover over the treated area. During the procedure (which typically takes about 45 minutes), the Vanquish applicator will use radio frequency to heat and kill fat cells. While Vanquish’s built-in heat sensors will ensure that the external skin never exceeds 101 degrees Fahrenheit, the underlying fat cells may reach up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. This heat is enough to destroy the fat cells so that they can be naturally eliminated from the body, but not enough to cause any type of damage.

Vanquish ME™ is a comfortable treatment and does not require the use of anesthesia. Patients will feel a warming sensation along the treatment area that may continue for a couple of hours after treatment. In addition, some patients may experience some minor swelling in the treatment area, which should subside within a couple of hours after treatment is complete.

Typical Results

Results can be different for every patient, but Vanquish typically requires 6 sessions to achieve optimal, visible results. Dr. Moradi typically recommends 6 treatment sessions. After these 6 sessions have been completed, patients will begin to see a gradual change in the treatment area. Patients, following their last treatment session, can expect to see results in a few weeks, with the treated area becoming gradually slimmer and more contoured over time. Most patients begin to see the full results of Vanquish ME™ Fat Reduction within two to three months after their final treatment session. Since Vanquish technology destroys the fat cells, the cells should not be able to regenerate, and the results can be maintained with the proper diet and exercise.
