What does microneedling with PRP feel like?

The treatment experience is not exceptionally painful. For comfort, a numbing cream can be applied before the treatment. The treatment will take about one hour to complete. The numbing cream is applied first, and then the blood is drawn. The blood is processed in a specialized centrifuge, which separates the blood to create the PRP. PRP is a clear, yellow fluid applied immediately after the microneedling.

What is the treatment experience?

Microneedling can be performed to enhance skin quality on the face, neck, and chest, producing a remarkable firming and lifting effect. The first step is to create the PRP. A blood draw is performed (just like a standard blood draw at the doctor). The blood is then processed to create a healing serum, PRP. 

This serum has a concentrated amount of healing factors in the blood. The microneedling is performed with a sterilized handpiece equipped with new needles for each patient. The device is passed over the face, neck, or decolletage, creating tiny channels. The PRP is then applied to penetrate through the microchannels.

What is the recovery time?

You may experience mild redness or pinpoint bleeding for a few days, which can be camouflaged with makeup. You could experience a series of very mild reactions, such as skin tightness and skin flaking. You can resume your regular schedule following treatment, but vigorous physical activities or workouts must be avoided for at least 24 hours. You will need some patience to enjoy the full effect of your treatment as the skin regenerates from within, becoming softer, firmer, and more resilient as the weeks pass.
